About the Journal

Trying to learn to use words, and every attempt
Is a wholly new start, and a different kind of failure
Because one has only learnt to get the better words
For the thing one no longer has to say, or the way in which
One no longeris disposed to say it.
And so each venture
Is a new beginning, a raid on the inarticulate
With shabby equipment always deteriorating…
(T. S. Eliot, East Coker)

Denken selber.

Philosophieren.
(Martin Heidegger, Aus der Erfahrung des Denkens)

Posseible is a refereed and open-access philosophy journal published twice a year (July & December).

The name of the journal (Posseible) is an allusion to Nicholas of Cusa’s concept of possest, which brings together posse (to be capable) and est (to be) with a view to underscoring the indiscernibility of the two in God.
